Singing the Gospel of Mark
Music often tells stories that words along can't. Drawing upon hymns from Evangelical Lutheran Worship, one can sing the entire Gospel of Mark in 30 minutes. If you want to increase the impact of this experience, add another 30 minutes and read each of the portions of Mark, and then sing the hymns.

A Bible Study based on the Gospel of John that looks at those who witnessed the events and life of Jesus Christ. What did it mean to witness then and what does that mean for Christians today? The Bible Study consists of seven lessons, each started with a Lectio Divina prayer for the sake of establishing a Christ-centered, open, friendly, and productive learning space. Knitting 104: Knitting with the Other Hand
This is a one-session class in which participants will learn to knit while holding the yarn in the opposite hand from which they normally do. Leaders of this class should be able to teach knitting and purling with both hands. I find it helpful to have assistants who are also adept in knitting both ways,as this breaks down the student-to-teacher ratio.

Knitting 101 - Knitting a Bible Study
In today's lesson, teach the class how to cast on and knit. Get them started on the Seaman's Scarf. For homework, have the group work the first 14" of the scarf pattern. Give them two weeks to work on it before your next class. All four sessions are included.
