The Sunday School Teacher of Oz
The "Sunday School Teacher of Oz" is intended to be performed by adults with simple costume changes for the Scarecrow, Tinman and Lion. The set should include a small area with a table and chairs for the Sunday School class (off to the side) and a garden scene with a rainbow (center). The opening scene can be performed in front of the stage area.

Fish for Tanzania
The Sunday School wanted to raise money for a fish farm project in Tanzania. Teachers helped the kids keep track of how much money was being raised by creating an under-water aquarium. The goal was to fill the board with fish. Each fish symbol represents $50.00. Sunday School kids decorated and cut out fish to put on the board.

The Sunday School children and staff have worked over a month on a mission project that will be a gift to our sister parish in Malawi. The Sunday School Committee was very receptive to this idea that came to Ann from a Bible Study memorization verse, John 15:5, I am the vine; you are the branches. Pennies for Bibles
On October 6, 2002, the Sunday School of East Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Amery, challenged the congregational family to a Pennies for Bibles Challenge. Each week the pennies were weighed and a report was given on the following Sunday as to which group was currently in the lead. Under a special program of the American Bible Society, a Bible costs only $4, so the Penny Challenge bought over 43 Bibles to be sent to those in need all over the world.
