Usage of Computers and Internet System
This policy refers to all information resources, whether controlled or shared, stand alone, or networked. It applies to all computers and communication facilities owned, leased, operated, or contracted by the Church. This includes word processing equipment, personal computers, workstations, laptop computers, and associated peripherals and software, regardless of whether used for administration, research, teaching, or any other purpose.

Responsibilities and Position Descriptions
The Congregation Council has the principal responsibility for fulfillment of the church's mission and the legal accountability for its operations. Council members have a duty of loyalty to the organization, its staff and other council members. While differences of opinion are sure to arise, council members should seek to keep disagreements impersonal. Practicing discretion and accepting decisions made on a majority basis will promote council unity and confidence.

Employee evaluations accomplish four main goals in an organization: Allows staff member and supervisor to discuss performance expectations. Identifies training needs. Annual Review of Pastor Guidelines
One responsibility of the Congregation Council and the Staff Support Committee is to appraise the work of the Pastor(s). The Pastor(s) should expect to receive a review of his or her work annually. The evaluation process will be more effective with careful advance planning. The meeting will take place with the Staff Support Committee. The evaluation will have a written component.

Sexual Harassment Policy
Sexual harassment is a form of sex discrimination that is prohibited by Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Many churches are not subject to Title VII because they are not engaged in an industry affecting commerce or because they do not have at least fifteen employees. However, some churches do opt to establish a sexual harassment policy to protect their employees from such discrimination.

Personnel Policy Guidelines
The Personnel Policy Guidelines Manual defines what the church can expect from it's employees, and what the employees can expect from the church. The policy guidelines will be presented to the new employee during orientation, with clear explanations and opportunity for discussion. These guidelines will help the church maintain positive employee relations and can prevent conflicts and misunderstandings.
