Contribuciones Confirmation and Computers The following is an introduction of the 2000-2001 confirmation program at the McVille Lutheran Parish of McVille N.D. Tami Trostad Pastor Michael D. Fiske. Usage of Computers and Internet System This policy refers to all information resources, whether controlled or shared, stand alone, or networked. It applies to all computers and communication facilities owned, leased, operated, or contracted by the Church. This includes word processing equipment, personal computers, workstations, laptop computers, and associated peripherals and software, regardless of whether used for administration, research, teaching, or any other purpose. Weekly Highlights by Email This is an example of an e-mail that can be sent out to people in an e-mail list to let them know what is happening for the week in the church and Scripture lessons to prepare you for Worship or as thoughts to reflect upon throughout the week. Monday Morning Message The e-mail is sent each Monday morning to all members who have e-mail addresses. It is also sent to a few nonmembers who are interested in what is happening at Zion. Virus Protection Procedures We want to warn our clients and friends of some of some security issues which may be even more important to understand in the coming days, and have put them in the following list. Sharing Pictures On the Web Dan Tye thought the Resource Center might be interested in a project they completed based our Sunday School Christmas program at Christ in Menomonie. Image the contacts that could come from sharing of these pictures with remote brothers, sisters, and grandparents! Church Management Software This file contains a list of computer software that is being used to help manage various aspects for the Church. Ministry Assistant: Computers & Desk-top Publishing The Ministry Assistant will assist the staff with administration and communication so that tasks contribute to the accomplishment of our multiple ministries. The Ministry Assistant must see this position as a ministry to and with the people of the staff and the congregation of God. |
