Contribuciones Sowing Seeds of Hope - Holy Communion Bless the seeds that are planted, guard them from storms, calamity and drought and bring them to abundant harvest that all people may be fed. Give us a spirit of generosity and trust in your mercy; teach us to care for our neighbors. Sowing Seeds of Hope - Service of the Word We have gathered from across the land to celebrate the hope we have in Christ Jesus our Savior; to hear the Word and be nourished at his table; to learn from one another and to receive God's comfort and healing. These are hard times for many people and yet God speaks to us a word of hope; hope for us all, for all people and for the world. The creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. Blessing of Fields Leader: Today we seek God's blessing on these seeds and the crops they will produce. Christ reminds us that, unless the seed is planted in the earth and dies, it will not yield fruit. As these seeds grow and are cared for, may they be signs of the new life that comes from God. Service of Farewell to the Farm It came to us that there should be an occasional service of a "funeral" for the grieving persons who have lost the farm or at least have to leave the farm for other work. We are sending this service to you for use in your synod, diocese, district, institution or parishes.
