Dear brothers and sisters in Christ: We have come together today to dedicate this building to the glory of god and for the praise of His name. Let us then offer up this space, as well as ourselves, so that all people can be invited and welcome to come together as God's family to Worship the Lord, to Grow in Faith, to Care for Others, and to Share the good News of Jesus Christ.

Members of the Church, guests, and all interested members of the community are invited to join us for a discussion of the role of the Church in the city. We hope to stir thought on such key issues as: What happens when Church and City intersect? Where might people of faith better serve the city? What "pressure points" will arise out of the continued vigorous growth that Charlotte is experiencing? Are there areas that might require greater tolerance, understanding, or hospitality from people of faith?

The applicant agrees to be totally responsible for the property while being used and agrees to reimburse Christ Lutheran Church for any loss or damage incurred while the facilities/properties are used.

Council members are male or female baptized Christians instructed in the Christian faith and committed to being disciples of Jesus Christ. They are men and women of prayer, students of the Bible and active members of their church in good standing, regular in worship, supporting their congregation, willing to give of their time and talent for the mission of the church. They are elected by their fellow church members to serve for two years
