Contributions Nursery Guidelines The nursery is staffed by volunteers, mainly the parents of our young children and our youth (5th grade and older). The following guidelines for volunteers and parents have been developed by our Nursery Coordinator in order to provide a safe, nurturing environment for our children while our adults attend worship. These guidelines are reviewed at the beginning of every year by the Children’s Ministry. A Nursery Road Map Imagine this is the first time you have worshipped at your congregation. Your 2-year old has decided that the service is far too long, and made it clear you needed to locate the nursery. Your anxiety mounts as you wander around the narthex, trying to contain your child and locate the undersized sign hidden in the corner which directs people to the nursery. |
