An Order for the Presentation of Bibles
At the time of your baptism, your parents and sponsors promised faithfully to bring you to the services of God's house, to teach you the Lord's Prayer, the Creed, and the Ten Commandments, to place in your hands, the Holy Scriptures, and to provide for your instruction in the Christian faith, that, living in the covenant of your Baptism and in communion with the Church, you may lead a godly life/lives until the day of Jesus Christ.

Baptismal Sponsor Presentation of Bible to 3-year-olds
We are writing to invite you to a very special occasion. Your godchild is beginning Sunday school this coming January. When your godchild was baptized, you made some promises before God. One of these promises was that you would "provide for his/her instruction in the Christian faith" and another was "that as he/she grows in years you would place in his/her hands the Holy Scripture."

Presentation of Bibles - 3rd and 4th grade
I would like to invite your child plus one or both of your parents to come over to the parsonage for about an hour during which we will take some time to get acquainted with: How you read your Bible, How do you find things in there, How often should I read, etc. (I call this a Bible "How To"). At this meeting, I will also present you with the 1st quarter of a Family Devotions booklet which (your church) will send you later
