How to share your resource
If you are an ELCA member and would like to share your locally- produced resource with others from around the world, here is how to contribute it to this group.

Note: For an overview , click to view a 5-minute video tutorial on how to upload a resource.

  1. The first step is to take a few moments to create a login on this site. In addition to being able upload resources, you'll be able to tag existing resources, write reviews, and contribute translations of resources you find on this site.
  2. Prepare your document(s); if your resource contains images, please reduce them to a reasonable size so that others may easily download. If you don't have photo editing software available, try SnipShot for a free online editor.
  3. When you open the submission page, give your resource a short but descriptive title. Create a 1-4 sentence description of your resource in the box labeled "Abstract."
  4. If you'd like to give people the option to modify your resource for local use, please share an editable version. Most wordprocessors have a "Save As" command that helps you share it in a widely usable format. We suggest saving it as a Rich Text File (.rtf extension).
  5. If you'd like to ensure that formatting is retained when someone prints your resource, save it as an Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) file. If you don't own a program for creating PDF files, a free utility is available at www.cutepdf.com.
  6. Check to make sure you can share. Are all the images and words you are sharing your own? If not, please get permission from the author, photographer or videographer and include attribution in the document.
  7. Make sure you include information on how to reach you with any submission.
  8. After review, it will be visible on Feautor.org within five business days.

Thank you for sharing!
